On April 21, The Family Tree joined over 200 other lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) organizations, along with allies in the faith, labor and civil rights communities, in issuing the following statement to members of the United States Congress:

“Pass the Employment Non-Discrimination Act NOW.”

Other participating organizations included Florida GLBT Democratic Caucus, Equality Florida, Florida Together and Human Rights Campaign.
